John Carter 2: Gods of Mars (2025)

After more than a decade lost in space and time, Taylor Kitsch returns as the legendary Earth-born warrior in John Carter 2: Gods of Mars, the long-awaited sequel to the cult sci-fi epic.
The teaser opens with vast shots of Barsoom (Mars)—now darker, divided, and teetering on the edge of civil war. A mysterious voice echoes: “The gods are not what they seem.” Suddenly, Carter awakens inside a vast underground city, imprisoned in the realm of the First Born, a hidden and powerful race thought to be myth.

As Carter escapes and journeys across deadly Martian landscapes, he reunites with Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins), now queen and revolutionary, facing threats from both the corrupt Therns and a newly awakened cosmic power threatening to destroy all life on Barsoom.

The teaser flashes quick glimpses of massive aerial battles, ancient Martian temples, shape-shifting enemies, and Carter wielding his sword with supernatural force. Dejah stands defiant beside him, declaring, “Barsoom will never kneel again.”

The final shot: Carter, glowing with alien energy, facing off with a towering godlike being as thunder roars over the twin moons.
