Set during the Iraq War, The Wall is a tense psychological war thriller focused on two American soldiers — Sergeant Allen Isaac (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Staff Sergeant Shane Matthews (John Cena). After responding to a distress call in the desert, they fall into an ambush by an unseen sniper.
Wounded and pinned down behind a crumbling brick wall, Isaac is left alone, injured, and without radio communication — except for the voice of the enemy sniper taunting him through the radio. What follows is a deadly mental and physical standoff between hunter and hunted.
