Superdeep (2020)

In 1984, deep beneath the frozen tundra of the Soviet Union, a scientific team unlocks something that was never meant to be found. At the bottom of the Kola Superdeep Borehole — the deepest man-made hole on Earth — researchers record disturbing sounds and uncover evidence of a mysterious organism. Then, communication goes silent.
Dispatched to investigate is Anya, a military scientist haunted by her past, who joins a recovery unit sent to the depths. What they discover is a decaying facility filled with corpses, biological horrors, and an infection that defies nature — a living entity capable of consuming and imitating human hosts.
As the truth unravels, Anya realizes the experiment went far beyond science — it opened a door to something ancient, alive, and uncontrollable. Trapped miles underground with the infection spreading, the team must choose between escaping or sealing the horror in forever.
Superdeep is a claustrophobic sci-fi horror inspired by real events, blending Cold War paranoia, body horror, and apocalyptic terror in a fight to survive the abyss below.
