Years have passed since Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) outsmarted two of the dumbest burglars in history. Now a security systems designer living in Chicago, Kevin gets an unexpected call: his nephew Max (Jacob Tremblay) is left home alone during Christmas in the suburbs while his family gets stuck in a snowstorm far away.
But this time, the stakes are higher. A new duo of high-tech thieves targets Max’s neighborhood, seeking a prototype gadget accidentally left in Max’s house—created by none other than Uncle Kevin himself.
Realizing Max is in danger, Kevin rushes back to his childhood roots, teaching Max every trick in the book. But Max has some ideas of his own—combining Kevin’s old-school pranks with modern tech and chaos.
