Plot:

Van Helsing 2 picks up several years after the events of the first Van Helsing (2004), where the legendary monster hunter Gabriel Van Helsing (played by Hugh Jackman) had vanquished the evil Count Dracula and other supernatural creatures, bringing temporary peace to the world. However, peace never lasts long in a world filled with monsters, and Van Helsing soon discovers that Dracula’s defeat was only a small part of a much larger and more dangerous conspiracy. The forces of darkness are far from defeated, and a greater evil, The Brotherhood of Shadows, is preparing to rise.

The film opens with Van Helsing living in seclusion, haunted by his past and the endless fight against the supernatural. After losing his beloved Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) in the first battle with Dracula, Van Helsing struggles to find purpose.
