The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift takes the franchise in a new direction, shifting focus from street racing in the U.S. to the underground drift racing scene in Japan. The film follows Sean Boswell (Lucas Black), a rebellious teenager sent to Tokyo, where he gets involved in the world of drift racing and clashes with the local champion, Takashi (Brian Tee). With the help of Han (Sung Kang), Sean learns the art of drifting and prepares for the ultimate race.
While lacking the familiar faces of the original cast, Tokyo Drift makes up for it with stylish racing sequences, a unique setting, and an iconic soundtrack. Han quickly became a fan-favorite character, adding charisma and depth to the story. Though not the strongest entry in the series, its thrilling drift races and Japanese street culture make it a standout for car enthusiasts.
