Genre: Action / Martial Arts
Runtime: 110 minutes

Kickboxer: Retaliation is the direct sequel to Kickboxer: Vengeance (2016), continuing the saga of Kurt Sloane (Alain Moussi), who has now left the underground fight scene. But peace doesn’t last — he’s kidnapped and forced back into brutal combat in Thailand. His new opponent? A genetically enhanced mountain of muscle named Mongkut (played by Game of Thrones’ Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson).
With his freedom and life on the line, Kurt must train harder than ever, under the mentorship of Master Durand (Jean-Claude Van Damme), and face impossible odds in a savage, high-stakes battle.

Kickboxer: Retaliation delivers exactly what fans expect — punishing action, muscular spectacle, and homage to classic fight films. While the plot is thin and full of clichés, it doesn’t pretend to be more than a high-energy martial arts showdown with some entertaining faces.
