Genre: Action / Fantasy / Comedy
Runtime: 88 minutes

The Medallion blends Jackie Chan’s signature martial arts flair with supernatural fantasy in a light, fast-paced action-comedy. Jackie plays Eddie Yang, a Hong Kong detective who gets entangled in an ancient mystical conspiracy involving a powerful medallion that grants superhuman strength and immortality.
After a near-death experience while rescuing a gifted child, Eddie is resurrected with the medallion’s power — and must now stop the villainous Snakehead (Julian Sands) from misusing it. Along the way, he’s joined by bumbling Interpol agent Arthur (Lee Evans) and former flame Nicole (Claire Forlani).

The Medallion is a lightweight, family-friendly action flick with supernatural flair. While it doesn’t showcase Jackie Chan’s talents as well as his Hong Kong classics, it still offers enough charm, laughs, and action for fans looking for an easygoing, mystical adventure.
