Though technically a TV series, Raised by Wolves (2020–2022) deserves a place on this list due to its cinematic scale and innovative storytelling. Fimmel plays Marcus, a soldier who arrives on the planet with his own set of beliefs and a deeply personal agenda.
Fimmel’s performance as Marcus is layered with complexity. Initially, he seems like a straightforward antagonist, but as the series progresses, his character evolves, revealing motivations driven by survival, faith, and family. Fimmel is particularly adept at portraying characters who walk the line between heroism and villainy, and Marcus is no exception.
