Big Hero 6 is a heartwarming and action-packed animated film from Disney that combines the excitement of superhero action with the warmth of a heartfelt story about family and friendship. Set in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo, the story follows a young robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada (voiced by Ryan Potter). Hiro’s life changes when his older brother, Tadashi (voiced by Daniel Henney), encourages him to apply to the prestigious robotics program at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. After Tadashi tragically dies in a mysterious fire, Hiro is left heartbroken but discovers that Tadashi’s invention, a healthcare robot named Baymax (voiced by Scott Adsit), is still functioning.

Determined to uncover the truth behind the fire and stop the villain responsible, Hiro teams up with Baymax and a group of Tadashi’s friends from the robotics program: GoGo (voiced by Jamie Chung), Wasabi (voiced by Damon Wayans Jr.), Honey Lemon (voiced by Genesis Rodriguez), and Fred (voiced by T.J. Miller). Together, they form the superhero team “Big Hero 6” and embark on a thrilling mission to defeat the mysterious villain who threatens their city.

The film combines breathtaking animation, humor, and emotion, exploring themes of grief, healing, and the power of teamwork. Hiro learns to channel his grief into something positive, and with the help of his friends and the lovable Baymax, he discovers that true heroism comes from the heart.
