When Eric, a recently released ex-convict, and his estranged daughter Becky suffer a car crash in the cold, remote mountains of Romania, they stumble upon a decrepit old hotel buried deep in the woods. Though seemingly abandoned and eerie, it appears to be the only refuge for the night.
