Plot:

Aquaman 3 (2025) picks up after the events of Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom (2023), where Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) has finally embraced his dual identity as both a protector of Atlantis and a hero for the surface world. He has secured his position as the King of Atlantis, with his allies by his side, including his loyal companion Mera (Amber Heard), and has forged a tenuous peace between the people of the ocean and the surface world. However, peace is short-lived, as new, dangerous threats emerge from both the depths of the ocean and the skies above.

The story begins with an ancient prophecy coming to light—one that foretells the rise of an unprecedented storm known as the Tempest of Ages, an apocalyptic event that threatens both Atlantis and the surface world. The Tempest is said to be the manifestation of an ancient cosmic power, The Leviathan, an ancient sea creature born from the depths of the ocean that has been asleep for millennia. The Leviathan has been awakened by a mysterious, all-powerful figure who is determined to take control of both worlds. This figure, King Zathros (played by Michael Fassbender), is the leader of an ancient, hidden faction of Atlantean rebels, who believes Atlantis should have dominion over all lands and oceans, and that Aquaman is not fit to rule.
