Garm Wars: The Last Druid (2014)

In a world where war is eternal, truth becomes rebellion.
Set in the war-torn planet Annwn, where clone armies of once-mighty tribes known as the Garm wage endless battles, Garm Wars: The Last Druid tells the story of a divided world lost in chaos. Technology, mysticism, and nature clash as the few remaining factions — Briga, Columba, and Kumtak — fight over dwindling resources and old grudges.

When a lone Kumtak hacker named Wydd flees with a young Druid girl believed to hold the key to the planet’s salvation, he crosses paths with Khara, a Briga warrior clone raised to kill without question. Joined by a Columba pilot, the unlikely trio forms a fragile alliance to uncover the long-buried secrets of the Garm — and discover the true nature of their world.

Directed by legendary anime filmmaker Mamoru Oshii, this live-action sci-fi fantasy blends epic visuals, philosophical questions, and cyberpunk aesthetics into a tale about identity, faith, and resistance. The film asks: what happens when those designed only for war begin to search for meaning?
