Ong Bak 2 (2008)

Ong Bak 2 is a 2008 Thai martial arts film co-directed by and starring Tony Jaa. Serving as a standalone prequel to Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior (2003), the film is set in 15th-century Siam and follows the story of Tien, the son of a nobleman who is betrayed and murdered. Captured by slave traders, Tien is rescued by Chernang, leader of the Pha Beek Khrut, a group of martial artists.
Under Chernang’s tutelage, Tien masters various combat styles, including Muay Boran, Krabi Krabong, and other Asian martial arts. As he grows, Tien seeks vengeance against those who destroyed his family, leading to a series of intense battles and personal revelations.
