The First Omen (2024)
The First Omen (2024) is a supernatural horror film that serves as a prequel to the 1976 classic The Omen. Directed by Arkasha Stevenson, the film explores the origins of the Antichrist and the sinister forces working behind the scenes to bring him into the world.
The story follows Margaret Daino (played by Nell Tiger Free), a devout young American woman who is sent to Rome to work at a Catholic orphanage. Initially, she embraces her new role, caring for the children and immersing herself in the faith-driven environment. However, she soon begins to sense that something is deeply wrong within the church. Strange occurrences, disturbing visions, and eerie warnings from those around her lead Margaret to uncover a dark and horrifying conspiracy.
As she digs deeper, she learns that powerful figures within the church are orchestrating a demonic plan to bring about the birth of the Antichrist. Margaret’s faith is tested as she fights to stop an unholy prophecy from unfolding. However, as she unravels the truth, she realizes that she may be more deeply connected to these dark forces than she ever imagined.
