Ice Age: Collision Course is the fifth installment in the Ice Age franchise, bringing back our favorite prehistoric heroes in a cosmic adventure. This time, Scrat’s endless chase for his acorn takes him to space, where he accidentally triggers an asteroid heading toward Earth. Manny, Sid, Diego, and the gang must stop the catastrophe while dealing with family drama and new quirky characters.
The film delivers plenty of humor, thanks to Scrat’s space antics, Buck’s wild personality, and Sid’s awkward love life. However, the story feels a bit predictable and over-the-top, lacking the emotional depth of earlier movies. The new characters, like the Shangri Llama, add fun but don’t leave a lasting impact.
Visually, the animation is stunning, with vibrant colors and impressive asteroid sequences. The humor is a mix of slapstick and silly jokes, entertaining for kids but less engaging for older fans.
