The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 (1990)

Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990) is the third installment in the legendary horror franchise. Directed by Jeff Burr, the film brings back the terrifying Leatherface, but with a slightly different take on the Sawyer family and their twisted ways.
The story follows Michelle (Kate Hodge) and Ryan (William Butler), a young couple traveling through Texas. After encountering a creepy gas station attendant, they find themselves being hunted by Leatherface and his deranged family. Along the way, they meet Benny (Ken Foree), a survivalist who becomes their only hope against the chainsaw-wielding killer.
Unlike its predecessors, this film amps up the brutality and introduces a more menacing version of Leatherface. The cinematography is dark and gritty, creating a chilling atmosphere. However, due to studio interference, the film suffered from heavy edits, leading to a weaker storyline and reduced gore compared to previous entries.
While not as iconic as the 1974 original, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 remains a solid slasher flick with intense action and a creepy villain. Fans of the franchise will enjoy the relentless tension and brutal kills.
