A Christmas Carol (2009)

A Christmas Carol (2009)
Ebenezer Scrooge is a wealthy but miserly and cold-hearted old man who despises Christmas and refuses to show kindness to others. He rejects holiday cheer, underpays his employee Bob Cratchit, and ignores the struggles of the poor.
On Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him that if he does not change his ways, he will suffer an eternity of torment. Marley tells Scrooge that three spirits will visit him that night.
The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge back to his childhood and youth, showing how he once had love and joy in his life but became obsessed with money, leading to his loneliness.
The Ghost of Christmas Present reveals how people celebrate Christmas with warmth and love, despite hardships. Scrooge sees Bob Cratchit’s family and learns that his sickly son, Tiny Tim, may not survive if things do not change.
The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come gives Scrooge a chilling vision of his own lonely death, where people celebrate his passing and his grave is left abandoned.
Terrified by what he has seen, Scrooge wakes up on Christmas morning as a changed man. He embraces the holiday with joy, treats others with kindness, and generously helps those in need. He becomes a beloved figure in the community, proving that it is never too late to change.
