Two years after their thrilling adventure in Jumanji, Spencer, Martha, Fridge, and Bethany have gone their separate ways after high school. Feeling uncertain about his future, Spencer secretly repairs the broken Jumanji video game console and is accidentally pulled back into the game. When his friends realize he is missing, they decide to return to Jumanji to save him. However, things go terribly wrong—the game is malfunctioning, and instead of entering their previous avatars, new players get sucked in, including Spencer’s grandfather Eddie (Danny DeVito) and his old friend Milo (Danny Glover).

Now inside the unpredictable world of Jumanji, Eddie finds himself as Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson), while Milo takes over Mouse Finbar (Kevin Hart). Martha returns as Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan), but Fridge is now trapped in Professor Sheldon Oberon (Jack Black).
