Plot Summary:
Out for Justice is a gritty action-packed crime thriller starring Steven Seagal as Gino Felino, a tough-as-nails Brooklyn cop with a deep sense of justice and loyalty. When his childhood friend and fellow police officer is brutally murdered in broad daylight, Gino takes it personally and embarks on a relentless hunt for the killer, Richie Madano (William Forsythe), a violent, drug-addicted psychopath who has left a trail of destruction through their old neighborhood.
As Gino delves deeper into the case, he battles through a web of crime, corruption, and personal vendettas, facing off against mobsters, street thugs, and Richieβs gang. Along the way, Gino must also confront his own past and connections to the very streets heβs now trying to clean up.
Directed by John Flynn, Out for Justice is a hard-hitting showcase for Seagalβs martial arts prowess, featuring brutal fight scenes, gritty urban action, and Seagalβs signature style of calm, calculated intensity. William Forsythe delivers a memorable performance as the unhinged Richie, providing a compelling counterbalance to Seagalβs stoic hero.
With its raw energy and fast-paced storytelling, Out for Justice is a classic example of 1990s action cinema, delivering plenty of thrills for fans of the genre.
